Sensible offers considered taking into account that the hull, being carbon fibre, is much stiffer than other Mk. 4s of a similar age.

Sadler 29 for sale and in good condition throughout – currently based at Solway Yacht Club, Kippford. Been sailed regularly and club raced in 2025 and just craned out, allowing full inspection and survey. Built in 1986 by Sadler Yachts in Poole. Vega is a well-loved Sadler 29 with bilge keels, allowing it to enter shallower spots and to dry out. The Sadler 29 is a well-proven and exceptionally seaworthy family cruiser with impeccable manners and crisp performance. Vega has been our boat since 2017, where we have used it for day sailing, coastal cruising and club racing. Its previous owner was more adventurous and sailed her to St Kilda, such is the versatility of this boat. She is a great boat, easy to sail and very re-assuring. Basically equipped but very well maintained. If the boat were to stay in Kippford, there is also a possible opportunity for shared ownership, if that is of interest. A lovely affordable fun family sailing boat with lifting keel and drop down rudder. Finiky has been raced with great success and also cruised with her at The Solway Yacht Club on the Solway Firth.
